Terms of service
Last updated May 1, 2026.
These terms govern your use of wattpicker.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the site.
What Wattpicker is
Wattpicker is an information and recommendation tool for power stations and solar panels. We aggregate verified specs, cross-retailer pricing, reviewer citations, and run a deterministic compatibility validator. We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through our outbound links. We are not a retailer; we don't take payment, ship products, or process returns.
No warranty on third-party data
Specs, prices, stock status, and reviewer citations come from third-party sources. We work hard to verify them (see our methodology) but we don't warrant their accuracy. Always confirm critical details with the retailer before purchasing — especially compatibility, return policies, and shipping costs.
Compatibility validator — guidance, not gospel
Wattpicker's configurator + PV wiring validator outputs are based on manufacturer-published specs and standard solar engineering rules (cold-weather Voc derate, MPPT input matching, etc.). The output is informational. If you're building anything that requires a permit or professional install — particularly transfer-switch or whole-home backup configurations — consult a licensed electrician. We are not your electrician.
Affiliate links
We earn a commission when you buy through our outbound links. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin — your price is the same whether you click through us or go direct. See our affiliate disclosure.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape the site at high rate. Polite use is welcome.
- Don't submit fake price alerts to spam our outbound flow.
- Don't attempt to access admin routes or other restricted areas.
- Don't reproduce verbatim spec tables or our methodology pages without attribution.
